Portal quest endless dungeon
Having left their homes, gods, and many of their people behind them, the dream of regaining these things has gained an almost mythical status. The Vaulters left the planet of Auriga when potentially cataclysmic geo-atmospheric problems were detected. They have a tradition of appointing female leaders, and their history of escaping and surviving to fight another day continually reaffirms it. Defense remains their preferred military strategy, and their grim tenacity makes them effective defenders. Not so much restless wanderers as adaptable pragmatists, their centuries of travel and tinkering have made them skilled at both science and warfare. Bosses have a 100% chance to drop epic gear if all your Toons are epic eligible.īeyond the coveted ranking of deepest spelunker, it seems to increase the chance for pony shards and epic keys.Endless Space 2 - The Vaulters - PrologueĪn ancient faction, the Vaulters suffered continual setbacks in trying to establish a permanent home for themselves. Keys seem to become more plentiful the deeper you get into endless dungeon. On servers where Epic is available, these drop when you have at least one orange Toon in your party. If you need more keys, keep a favor around and use it when you are lucky enough to get a drop. Two particularly useful heroes are Totem Prince (hard head and his channel skill) and Spellbringer (for possess)Īre a rare drop from endless bosses every 5th level. Multiple heroes with bandages help too.įloors 300+ on a server with Epics you will want a mostly finnesse team to survive Mass Destruction. Pony is very effective to weaken the opponents and keep your team alive. Either stun or possess him.Įarly on many different teams will work and you can swap out toons (endless/boss) if they fall. Totem Prince- When very deep his channeled skill is incredibly lethal in combination with his hard skull making him tough to down quickly. A team of finesse Toons with Totem is ideal and can survive both pops. Possessing him (Spellbinder) is incredibly useful as he will only explode once. Mass Destruction- As you get very deep his skill over-levels and will wipe out your entire team. Once you find a shrine that has a buff you want to double, take it, and then go back to the ORANGE portal and skip to the next floor. * DOUBLE shrine effects (Endless only)- after you get sufficiently far and reset, you will be able to double the shrine effects. Getting a torch oil well allows you to explore the entire floor without using anymore torches if you are trying to maximize items or dungeon level Remember which well color cleans disabled skills- you will want to save these if you don't need them immediately and seek them out when you need them
Retreat is also useful to charge energy on your team for hard fights as you can gain some energy and retreat just before your Toons get hurt.Īfter picking the well- if you don't like the effect then immediately force-close the game and ignore that well color for the duration of that dungeon run
Retreat eats some torches but can keep your team alive- use it to clear the single battle effects such as Silence/Stun/Blind and to avoid losing Toons.
